About the festival
From the heart of Mangystau — to the hearts of the Turkic world.

The holding of the Turkic people's film festival "Qorkyt Ata" in Kazakhstan is much more than just a cultural event. This event carries a powerful ideological, political, and symbolic message. The festival becomes not only a celebration of cinematic art but also an important platform for the spiritual and cultural rapprochement of Turkic peoples.
Mission
• Preservation and strengthening of the cultural unity and heritage of the Turkic peoples.
• Creating a space for creativity, the exchange of ideas, and cultural dialogue through cinema.
• Supporting the development of national cinema and beneficial intergovernmental initiatives.
